With a lifetime interest in Birdlife, Mik Peryer has an extensive knowledge of the local birdlife in the Waikane Area. Now retired, Mik offers the opportunity for you to get up close and personal with the wild birdlife of the Waikane Estuary.

As a resident of the area Mik is able to observe the local birds from his home perched on one of the highest points of the estuary. Mik offers light refreshments at the end of his tours at his home and the chance to take in the breathtaking scenery from this beautiful vantage point

Having an interest in old cars Mik also offers his Light 15 Citroen to convey you to the lagoon and back again. Mik's Springer Spaniel Meg and his cats Mintie and Maisie along with his wife Moira, make up their "M" family.
