The royal spoonbills in the above photographs have flown in from somewhere, maybe from Kapiti Island, where some nest.

The eastern rosella is an Australian import. They have been bred in
aviaries throughout the country and released into the wild over time.
If you look closely at the cygnets in the above photograph you can see how they are maturing. Notice how black their necks have become.
