Waikanae Estuary is the Wild Bird Capital of New Zealand

There are approx 66 species of wild birds visit at times, with around 20 on show most tours. Once at the Estuary enjoy a stroll around the lagoons, sandspit and river reserve while enjoying the magnificent scenery and the many wild birds which inhabit this wonderful area.
